Inspiration
We wanted to create a program that assisted students in solving physics word problems. We wanted to create a program that removed all the fluff and displays all the given values, to help students with their work. The student can also view the answer, but only so much in one day.
What it does
The student takes a photograph of the problem. The program detects the givens and solves for the missing values.
How I built it
We utilized python.
Challenges I ran into
Locating APIs and learning about them were obstacles the team tried to clear. Time was also an enemy.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The team was able to work on different aspects of the project and then combine each individual's contributions into one coherent program.
What I learned
Many members learned python for their first time.
