Inspiration We built FocusFriend to solve our own struggle with digital distractions and inconsistent focus, aiming to create a tool that actually helps people understand and improve how they work.

What it does FocusFriend tracks your digital activity, analyzes your focus patterns using AI, and delivers personalized insights and nudges to boost deep work and reduce distractions.

How we built it We built a clean frontend in Electron, Vite, React. Then used Python, with OpenAI for insights, and built all securely integrated with productivity tools.

Challenges we ran into We faced challenges in synchronizing user data inputs, integrating the frontend and backend together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We built a MVP in under 6 hours , and delivered a clean, AI-powered experience that people can actually use daily to increase their productivity.
