Inspiration
We want to tackle Food Waste in using "less appealing" food to another food that maybe none ever heard.
What it does
It uses computer vision to track our leftover food, generate the calories and carbon emissions that shown if we throw it, and generate recipes to create using those foods. We also tell our customer the partner that can provide the rest of the recipe ingredients that has the lowest carbon emission.
How we built it
We created the computer vision using Python, and bring it to API using Flask. We then created a consumer app that can check the leftover food based on Android
Challenges
Integrating the UI from Figma to Android takes a lot of works. But it works now!
