Inspirations

The idea in composing this project was to provide individuals in my community with direct pathways to locate important resources when linking their educational pathways to workplace opportunities.

What it does

The website provides inclusive information that facilitates individuals from applying what they learned to gaining meaningful internships or employment opportunities. It contains brief descriptions of content areas with active links associated with the topic:

Personality test: Personality tests can provide individuals with valuable information that can assist them in making informed decisions about their education and career choices.

Resume: A proper resume is essential for anyone who is job searching or seeking to advance their career.

Internships and Jobs: By gaining valuable experience, building a professional network, clarifying career goals, increasing employability, and developing professional skills, individuals can position themselves for long-term success in their chosen field

Prior Learning Assessment: PLA can help individuals demonstrate their knowledge and skills to employers, which can enhance their employability and career prospects

Mental Health: Maintaining mental health is crucial for physical health, relationships, productivity, stress management, and overall quality of life

How we built it

I built this website with lots of dedication, love, and intentions to assist others in finding relevant information in one place. I built this website using HTML and CSS on Replit.

Challenges we ran into

The only challenge was time, as this was my first time building a website, and I wanted to add as many resources as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is my first time building a website! It was gratifying to be able to work on a project I can help others. I drew all the UI/UX, and was able to add essential information for others to prosper.

What we learned

This project brought wonderful feelings and new goals for me as I realized I can help others by providing resources.

What's next for For Your Future

I want this to be a live website, where I can add pools, survey, and measure what individuals in my community need to succeed. Based on their responses, I want to add relevant content which will assist them in transferring learning from classroom to workforce. Thank you for this opportunity!
