We wanted to build a messaging platform that explores potential dangers of technology.

How we built it

We used Firebase to build a messaging platform for the web. Then, we wrote some Javascript and CSS to make the platform an immersive experience.

Challenges we ran into

Conveying our message and finding ways to make our platform as interactive and approachable as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We finished! We have a final project and it doesn't look awful.

What we learned

Some web programming, some artistic thinking, some Firebase.

What's next for FriendlyChat

We'd like to consider other platforms like video-chat, esp. the potential dangers of Snapchat and related applications.
