Inspiration
The inspiration for our project comes from wanting to be able socialize with new people over a common ground of playing sports/games.
What it does
Our project is a mobile and desktop application that gets people together to play pick up games based on their interests and location.
How we built it
Through shire willpower and determination... We used Angular as the front-end MVC and Express on top of Node as the backend.
Challenges we ran into
- Having limited time
- Trying to implement React Native took a lot of time at first and ended up being scraped
- Having only 2 team members meant work delegation was pretty limited
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having a prototype interface with some base back end functions
What we learned
Time management is key for these events.
What's next for Game On
The app will continue to be developed and will be tested at our school.
