Our app is based on the idea of Private Investigation, Security and Spy use. The whole idea started as one of the team members was working in a "incognito" tab in chrome. The team thought of all the awkward situations they have been in and how it was never an easy exit strategy. There needed to be a way that someone could anonymously trigger their phone to do things for them.
Although only one hardware device was used, other hardware devices that are somewhat lenient in the cosmetic category of clothing could be used. Possibilities include the Myo Armband (user could wear long sleeved shirts) and possibly a hacked version of the leap motion (which could be smaller than the current market version).
The team then discussed the potential that could be done with the pebble watch and in just a few minutes an idea and structure was formed.
The Pebble watch has three buttons that a developer can interact with and this set a standard of features we could implement for the user. For example the top button could be used as a Voice Recording trigger with a companion app on the Phone and the middle and bottom buttons could be used for other functions such as sending a distress signal or start recording video. Furthermore, since we had to make it anonymous, we decided to make a default watch interface that gives only one second of feedback before the intent (button) is clicked/started. This is the feature that we are most proud of.
Our target market would be security industries, cops/undercover personnel, private investigators and possibility others like whistle blowers.
