Our Dapp makes charitable giving fun, widespread, transparent, lasting

• tokenize donation fund
• eliminate high administrative cost on matching donation gift

What it does

Tokenized donation funds earned interests and can be share with friends/families. NFT charity gift cards of matching donation are made easy for sharing and (re)gifting.

How we built it

1) Contracts are developed using HardHat and deployed to Aurora testnet 2) UI is built on React

Challenges we ran into

• Architecture of smart contracts
• Connecting to DeFi protocol to earn interest while meeting withdrawal demand

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• UI design
• Potential impact on making our society better by raising awareness of charitable giving/contribution to #RedefineGifting

What we learned

• It is relatively straightforward to use Aurora random number feature

What's next for GivingFun(d)

• Engage charities' participation to set up wallet to accept/redeem donation tokens
• Allow sharing of multiple matching donation gifts as one NFT
