Inspiration

Every new year, I promised myself. I will do this and that in this new year. But, I never, it is pretty hard to track those goals. Especially, when you left those goals in without finishing them. When you return to those it is pretty painful to remember where you left. So, I build this web app.

What it does

It asks name of goal, targeted dated on which user would like to finish their goals and a description. Then, it assumes. when you register your goal. you have 0% of progress. you can edit the percentage of progress of your goal. It will show you a line chart how you achieve this goal with the help of line chart.

How we built it

I stored data in context api of reactjs. I used scss for styling. I used typescript. I know typescript is over killed for this project.

Challenges we ran into

setting default value for date input in reactjs is little but tricky.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think. I build something that we can use.

What we learned

Tool is a tool. Even if that tool is small.

What's next for Goalulator

Adding server, database. Maybe adding authentication.
