Inspiration

Always having to click back to MQP links is a pain. Having all of our team's common links in one place would be very convenient.

What it does

It allows people to share bookmarks with friends/teammates or across devices.

How we built it

We used Svelte and Bulma for the front end, and Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB for the back end.

Challenges we ran into

We had some trouble setting up the Node/Express server and getting it to work with Svelte. We also had some trouble with adding/removing user bookmarks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The UI is very clean and our submission video is pretty good.

What we learned

We got more experience withing with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. We also learned a lot about Svelte and some of its more advanced features.

What's next for GoatMarks

Adding a calendar widget and making it more accessible for educational and business opportunities.
