Inspiration

We want to help people in achieving their goal of living a healthier life by joining and encouraging them in their fasting journey. For thousands of years fasting has been part of the human diet. For a long time not voluntarily, but in the past few thousand years various religions and cultures made fasting part of their rites. As with many things, old stands to test and reflects the collective accumulated knowledge of humanity

What it does

Our service makes sure that people achieve their goal of fasting for 7 days and don't fail beforehand. We know that not eating is difficult and do our best to help you succeed in your journey.

How we built it

Our client server architecture involves the tech stack comprising of HTML, CSS, JS, Python and Flask.
Together we collected ideas on Miro and clustered them. Afterwards, we thought of the customer journey in our App and drew some example screens. Then, we agreed on certain core functions and started to program the prototype. Simultaneously, we also worked on a vision for the final product.

Challenges we ran into

We are a team of 3 people. One BackEnd Developer, one FrontEnd Developer and one Business guy. In the beginning it was dificult to establish an efficient development workflow, but we managed to work together in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As a team we created a visually pleasing product with working functions. We worked together and made compromises every member is happy with. We collaborated together with the intention that every member gets an equal say and we can see how our initial idea transformed into this cool product which has a very high marketing prospective.

What we learned

We learned that people from different background don't think the same. This mixed set of knowledge helped us to create a promising prototype by applying our personal strenghts. Georg: I also learned that in order to cooperate with programmers and show them ideas in the best way I need to learn about Figma.

What's next for Good Fast

An App mockup will be continued to be developed in Figma. When this plan is completed we can continue with programming the application. When the theory and final application is done and satisfying, we will rent a small site where we produce the broths and juices to accompany the fasting process.
