Inspiration

We were heavily inspired by the film "Interstellar"! It brought up the concept of finding new worlds as a result of pollution, and we wanted to make a game that simulated cleaning up a polluted environment!

What it does

This is a game that shows a spaceship navigating obstacles and picking up trash, all while fighting the forces of gravity!

How we built it

We mainly used pygame and ctkinter for the interfaces and title screens.

Challenges we ran into

The calculations regarding gravity and the asteroids were daunting at first, but we were able to overcome them with the help of vector physics.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our ability to use OOP, as well as break larger problems down into smaller, more manageable ones.

What we learned

We learned techniques regarding dealing with timing and randomness in efficient game design!

Optimization and feature addition in the next coming weeks!
