Inspiration

• Our goal is to provide awareness and resources to people interested in composting.

What it does

• Teaches others about composting, both its importance for the environment and how to do it at home. It also shows the nearest composting centers, and uses AI to help identify whether one's food is compostable or not.

How we built it

• We built the wireframe using Framer.com
• And lots of YouTube tutorials.

Challenges we ran into

• We ran into numerous challenges, some of which were too powerful at times.
• There were conflicting creative preferences that we had to resolve.
• One hurdle was using Framer, as we did not know how to use it.
• Creating responsive components proved to be challenging, as the functionality sometimes broke down as the dimensions changed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We learned to use Framer and design tools, all of which we've never used before.

What we learned

• We learned how to collaborate on a design project and how to compromise when conflicting design ideas are presented. The primary tool we learned is Framer, which was new for most of.
• How to implement and and ask for user feedback

What's next for GreenGrid

• GreenGrid aims to continue expanding its business strategy to upkeep maintenance of the service. We would like to partner with more eco-focused products that we would recommend on our website. Also, we want to integrate more features that allow users to understand composting specific to their use case.
