Inspiration
The need for action to counter climate change is the need of the hour , the climate change is accumulation of marginal emissions that we are responsible for but we can also work the other way round by planting tress in a planned and convenient manner so that these accumulate to save us from complete annihilation .
What it does
The app analyses the location and the soil type given by the user and it provides a catalogue of plants that are suitable to plant in that particular particular location with that particular climate. Also, the app when given input of the plants that are chosen out of the given catalogue can maintain, a directory of water plants are planted and would give reminders, notifications and other instructions which are useful for the user to ensure that the plant grows well
How we built it
The idea started with the objective of monitoring plants to ensure growth, but as the monitor devices are at times very complicated to integrate for the common man and are not easily accessible, we decided on to create a virtual but realistic environment . then the idea moved on to flutter on which we created a basic app with some augmented reality and some machine learning learning extrapolation algorithms, which later on was used to predict the growth of plants over a period of time. Gemini API was used to get information about various locations and various species of plants. R language was used to turn out analysis of plant growth over vast period of time under regulated environment.
Challenges we ran into
The first challenge that we ran into was the application of assorted strings in Gemini API The second challenge was integrating all the services into one app, which could run seamlessly or flutter exports were tirelessly to Make this happen.

We have been recognised by Google student developer club of not only our college, but we were called to the GDSC solution challenge - Grooth was hosted in New Delhi and we were approved there for the Second

We learnt the importance of teamwork and the distribution of tasks and And the intricacies of Flutter and statistical analysis
What's next for GroOth
We are developing the next generation, android as well as iOS app for our platform also will be going forth with hardware aspects by applying the core electronics and micro processors to make the redundant tasks, easy and create a better and more sustainable environment for plants there showing their growth and fighting climate change
