GroupSync

Inspiration

We have a lot of friends we want to keep in touch with, and sometimes they are busy. That's just how college is. We do not want to stray away from them, and therefore, we decided to make this app, Anyone can hang out with their busiest friends.

What it does

It shows you when your friends are available to hang out individually or in a group. GroupSync also give you the optimal time to meet up in order include everyone in the friend group!

How we built it

We built it using React + Express + Postgres

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a lot of challenges...

We were sleep deprived, literally got no sleep, and collaboration got more and more difficult with the hour.

Our idea is difficult. We have to deal with dates, make our own calendars, etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of GroupSync! This is an app that we will use in the future, and hope everyone can join us.

We knew this idea would be a challenge, and we are very proud that we fulfilled the minimum requirement that we had set out to accomplish! We never looked back or doubted our skills.

What we learned

No matter how much you think you are prepared, challenges will come up. You just have to drink a Yerba and push through!

What's next for GroupSync

GroupSync will be a TAMU wide app that everyone will use. Everyone is busy in TAMU. We will continue to work on our app and smooth the edges, in order for it to take over the social media world!
