Gym4All

Inspiration

All 3 of us have worked out for many years already. However, when we started, none of us saw the results we wanted. After doing a lot of research, we figured out the way to get that physique, but we wanted to prevent others from that hassle. Hence, we made gym4all.

What it does

Gym4All is a website we designed to help make it easier to get started working out. It can check your form using pose detection and machine learning, We also have an interactive image for your muscle groups and what exercises target them that we made using a separate app and got the embed for it so we can use it. Lastly, we have a calorie calculator that tells you how to meet your goals based on your personal information, which at first we worked on using HTML, but ended up getting the API of a website that we based our original calculator on, because this one was more efficient

How we built it

For our front end, we used Wix and developed our website, styling it in different ways to make it more visually appealing. In the back end, we mainly relied on API's, but we made interactive images, and we also made a calculator using html that we scrapped.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge we ran into was with our original calculator, which when we tried to submit the information, it wouldn't work. Despite asking around, we still found no answer and we decided to use a more efficient API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we have created a website that shows our passion for working out and spreads it to everyone, along with computer science.

What we learned

We learned a lot of different things from the workshops and our project like basic web development, financial tech, neural networking, and we learned how to train a model.
