Inspiration

We got inspirated by the pitches from Senacor and Microsoft, wanting to get hands on two new technologies: AI and Smart Contracts.

What it does

Our goal is to build a prototype for a smart and agile car insurance: Your mobile connects to your car while you're driving. We analyse those information using machine learning and then get as a result one of five categories - the riskier you drive the more you pay. This "level" is handed to the smart contract, the payment is then done automatically by Ethereum.

How we built it

Like said we used Ethereum for the Smart Contracts. Microsoft Azure does the storage and AI-part. The user interface is an android app. The connector for all of these parts is a central server, written in Java and C++.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of Design-Issues were quite difficult, especially as smart contracts were a very new topic for us, which made us same headaches. And our good old friend time management made some trouble like always.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Larger parts of the software are already working and we're on a good way to have a great, functionial prototype working at the end.

A lot about Smart Contracts and Ethereum, as well as Machine Learning and Teamwork

Finish the project and reuse the learned skills for the next projects
