This repository includes our mini project started and completed at the hackathon: HackHers-2019

This mini project is about reading CSV files and store data in the database, utilizing mysql.

This open challenge was from Exxon Mobil, who were open to what we can do with the data provided by them.

We attempted to reorganized the given data and make better tables and relationships and avoid redundancy.

I worked with my team in bringing up the idea of organizing data that already exist and create a better relationships and tables between the variables. I worked on creating a presentation with every detail necessary to understand our idea and project we created.

Sai prashanthi Thoutam
I worked with my team to design the database with better relationships between the tables. I also participated in programming the backend part of the project. I worked on the part where a java program will read in a csv, store the read data and will provide it to be uploaded to the database.

SURAJ UPADHYAY
I worked on back-end java program that world read in the a file and store the data in the database using MySQL. It was my first time working with database, but it was a very fun way of learning. Although we faced many difficulties trying to complete the project, we did not give up and kept working until the last second.
