"HackTrail: Simplifying Beta Testing Documentation"
Are you tired of the hassle of manual error documentation during beta testing? Introducing HackTrail, a hackathon project aimed at revolutionizing the way we capture and report errors in React-based web applications. Our innovative solution offers a set of JavaScript functions that seamlessly integrate into your codebase. When an error occurs, HackTrail automatically records the user's journey, capturing every interaction that led to the issue. This automated error documentation simplifies the reporting process, enabling users to effortlessly provide detailed feedback. Join us in this hackathon to explore how HackTrail can streamline development workflows, enhance software quality, and elevate the beta testing experience. Together, let's transform the world of error reporting with HackTrail!
Story Behind "HackTrail":
The inspiration for "HackTrail" was born out of our own experiences as a tight-knit team of four software enthusiasts who frequently develop applications. We noticed a recurring challenge among our friends and early testers: they could identify errors within our software but found it incredibly difficult to explain the issues or describe the exact steps leading up to the problem. This led to frustrating back-and-forths and often left us struggling to recreate the reported issues.
