After signing up or logging with Halt NPC user need to sign in with the respective social media which they want to use.
When the user want to know about the top trends in social media such as most addictive Instagram by transcribing the whole reel into text.
As this the productive model to defend the addiction we make sure to limit the user by "maximum scrolls" or by the "Time limit" as shown.

Inspiration

Project Halt is inspired by every social media addict who wants to minimize the usage of social media.

What it does

Our AI Machine model lets the user to consume the information through Text-format outputs which lets the user to not get addicted to the visual treat which makes the the user into an addict.

How we built it

counteracts These days every social media user wants to quit or reduce their addiction but might come up with these following reasons: I don’t want to stay outdated about current trends in social media. I don’t want to miss out the updates about my favourite content creator. I don’t want to miss out my own personalized feed respective social media promotes me. I don’t want to miss out posts my followers post.

We found an open API pre-existing model video2text.de which transcribes the youtube videos into text using the url of the respective media content similarly as every social media is sharable it has url links to every social content from user social feed which can be transcribed and lets the user to view the content which is not transcribed such as dance videos or pictures with certain credit points by this move we will focus on the user Psychologically lets the user not view that content as they are trying to be productive by deriving potential information from their social media.

Challenges we ran into

It was a difficult job to store the credentials of the user as they connect their social media to out Halt NPC so we use Mongodb as server to store the credentials.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As our Halt NPC is Unique innovative idea is standing out firmly as many ears heard an many more minds of different perspectives were faced by us and got a positive feedback and won an Innovation cell hackathon conducted by our college.

What we learned

We learned new technologies while creating our project and learned how that there is solution for every problem everytime. Gave us a quote in head It is possible!

What's next for Halt NPC

We are trying to create web extension of our project which enables the users who login through browsers which will be an huge add on to their browsing!

As we got suggestions from friends to launch it as an application and connecting social media as similarly Discord does.

Another suggestion we got from experienced jury from an hackathon that they are expecting our idea develop into an OS feature by fascinating of our work and Idea uniqueness.
