Hangout App

FYI I started working on this before the hackathon.

Inspiration

It's difficult for people to find casual things to do with other people.

What it does

Anyone can, by themselves or with their friends, post parties, pregames, hangouts, pick up basketball games, etc. to communities in their city that app members join.

How we built it

With Adalo, a no code app platform.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the "network effect" to get people interested in getting on the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I held an event on the app this week and got 7 people to download the app and request to attend.

What we learned

People were able to navigate the app easily enough to request to attend and attend a hangout.

What's next for Hangout App

Partnering with event agencies to get them to host events on the app and drive users to the app.
