Inspiration

We were approached by a 9 year old, who is experiencing extreme bullying at his school. One of our team members experienced the same when younger, so we HAD to solve this issue.

What it does

A platform for people to find others with the same distress, to talk about their experience and comfort each other.

How we built it

We came up with the idea and developed it side by side with Nitai, the 9 year old. Using Ionic framework and RapidAPI.

Challenges we ran into

Deploying the application to our phones -- not as simple as it sounds!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing the app, a stable version that is working! With chat fully integrated.

What we learned

How to develop hybrid apps for IOS and Android, implementing chats. Also working with a very young but brilliant participant.
