Inspiration

Malnutrition is a serious problem so to combat this, we set up a website

What it does

It allows users to click on foods from the dinning hall to create a meal and then shows the nutrient content of the meals.

How we built it

We used javascript and html to create the website and used information stored in a json file

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to pull information from the dinning hall menu. Also, none of us had much web development experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have a proof of concept site where users can select from a limited number of items and see nutrition information.

How to use javascript and how much time it takes to gather information for web development.

What's next for HealthyBadgers

Creating a wider range of foods by possibly building a scraper to pull information from the dinning hall menu.
