Inspiration

The disastrous aftermath of the catastrophic covid situation in india inspired us to build up a website which can help us for the crisis management.

What it does

It helps us to manage critical resources like medicines, hospital beds, transport, etc. during a resource crunched situation.

How we built it

We have built it using the latest open source technologies like frontend thyme leaf, backend spring-boot framework and database on mariaDB.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into various challenges, like the installation of spring-boot framework and connecting to the database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to plan, manage, and build the website and its presentation in 24 hours and do it for a good cause.

What we learned

We learnt how to use technology in a fun way, how it brings out creativity, and how it can be miraculous in one's life

What's next for Helpaholic

We want to add more functionalities like transport and medicine and make it production-ready, open it for the public and do the required marketing.

There are a lot of pauses in the video due to a software compiling issue which made the video 4 minutes when our actual video is 2 minutes 30 seconds. We will add another link to the 2 minute 30 second video which is just without the pauses in the comments of the given youtube link.
