Inspiration

There's a lack of safe spaces for girls online and we crave connection during social distancing times. Music is a way to connect which touches us emotionally, in a way words alone cannot. When I’m facing problems or new experiences in life, I sometimes find a song that resonate deeply with me, and represents my feelings perfectly. I know there are other girls out there who feel the same. With Her + Song, girls can be vulnerable with each other without competition or comparison.

What it does

Choose a song that fits your mood, and you will be connected with another girl. Then, you can play the song and share your story.

How I built it

This project was built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

What's next for Her+Song

Currently the project runs locally, however, I hope to be able to build out the backend for this project and host it on the web.
