Inspiration
We were exposed to some causes of structural unemployment in Jamaica while having a discussion about the Jamaican economy and problems being faced by various other sectors.
What it does
HireMi connects skilled traders who may be self-employed and freelancers to potential customers. The real problem being solved is the difficulty of customers in finding skilled labour.
How I built it
We created web and mobile applications using Angular js, Flutter and Plone.
Challenges I ran into
We had issues connecting our web platform to plone server as well as deciding on a revenue model.
