Inspiration
Have you ever imagined what a device like the one that is used by combat pilots could provide to the average truck driver? We developed a similar technology: HoloTruck a HUD that help the driver to perform control checklists and give useful information to the truck driver in real time based on the data that is analyzed.
What it does
-This application give to the driver in real time useful information like a prevision if the breaks are going to stop working, when light alert breaks or simply helps the driver to find the right parking spot.
-This device help to identify truck parts and when the driver find a problem it automatically take a photo and report to the central control.
-Also provides a workflow to perform pre departure checks, like the one pilot does.
How we built it
We used the Hololens together with Unity and Vuforia to create the augmented reality experience.

What's next for Holotruck
Real Time feedback over VR is not only for truck drivers, it can be used in every field, from medical identification of pathologies like skin cancer to every manual work, this technology can help and improve the jos of the operator.
