Inspiration
We got inspired from our previous experience and got this idea into implementation. Our car stopped on a highway with us not noticing the amount of fuel left when going on a long trip and we saw on that isolated highway where a person met with an accident and there were no one to save the person until we saw him. We rushed him to the hospital and the doctor mentioned that he was admitted at the right time, if there was any delay in admitting his situation could be far more worse. At that very moment the only thing that was running in our heads was "What if even we hadn't seen him on that highway?? He could have just lost his life".
What it does
The main concept which we thought before starting the app. The Driver and passengers’ safety is at most important while going in a car. In case of accident, which can be detected by sudden drop in acceleration or input from a sudden vibration from the car due to the impact during the accident, the car is fitted with a chip which can broadcast the message to hospital, 911 services and emergency contacts about the accident and the GPS coordinates. This can be done manually by the user or through the phone’s emergency response. But what if the user is not able to contact through phone or the phone crushed during the time of accident. The chip in the car would be of great help and inform the respective authorities on time and help the users in emergency situations. This option is of great use when the user is travelling alone or there was no one to report the incident. This is one of the innovative concepts which we thought for hit and run cases. if the vibration sensors or the accelerometer sensors find that it is an accident then they transmit a message to nearby users (approximately 100m) with in the Bluetooth range. So, if a car is involved in an accident, then it automatically broadcasts details of the hitting vehicle via Bluetooth, giving its details to the nearby cars. So that the other users who received the information can report to the police. The other solution that we have come up is locating the gas stations between the designated source and destination.

Learning some unfamiliar UI work from scratch and implementing it was the biggest challenge that we have encountered.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Taking out actual thoughts and making those thoughts implemented into an application was one of the accomplishment. But, our biggest accomplishment would be, when this application goes live and could actually save at least 1 person life.
