iNeedHelp

• An iOS app that in an emergency allows a person to get assistance (in roughly 2-3 minutes) from people nearby before EMS can reach the location (on average 8-10 minutes)

• When a person clicks the emergency button, the app sends a notification to all people who have the app nearby and also calls EMS.

• On opening the notification the user gets directions to the emergency spot and on agreeing to help opens the Maps application for navigation.

• Won “Most Innovative” award.

• Technology stack: iOS, PHP, MySQL and Apple’s push notification service.
