Inspiration

Our main inspiration was in rogue like games and bullet-hells (such as Doom or Enter the Gungeon)

What it does

It is a game where the objective is to survive for as long as possible in a maze full of enemies, using either aversion or decimation in order to win.

How we built it

The main components of the game are the maze in which the game is held, the enemies the player faces, and the weapons and abilities the player has to combat them. We built these by going through them one step at a time and building off of what we had already constructed over the previous few hours.

Challenges we ran into

Mainly trying to concentrate further on into the night, and trying to keep our pace high.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite the fact that the game looks 3D, it is in fact only 2D, due to some graphical design work, and the use of ray tracing to create shadows which are made to seem like walls.

What we learned

That we have more endurance in programming than we previously thought.

What's next for us

We're going to go on as we previously have, but we may make similar games to this in the future, recreationally.
