Solving the country’s obesity crisis will require addressing the conditions in people’s lives that lead to food insecurity and create obstacles to healthy food options and safe physical activity. This year’s pandemic has shown that these conditions don’t only increase the risk of obesity and chronic illnesses, they also increase the risk of the most serious outcomes.” – John Auerbach, President and CEO of Trust for America’s Health.

On a more personal level, health issues is a prone issue in my family. Unfortunately, the condition High Blood Pressure passed own to me. I decided to generate this idea as a way that would motivate myself and others out there like me to be able to build better habits while investing in our future. If I had an application such as InvestHealthy it would encourage me to focus on creating a better lifestyle.

What it does

A multifunctioning mobile application & wearable that allows users to track their health report and earn crypto just by taking the initiative to be healthy. Features:

• “Custom health profile”- with users own health profile and predefined conditions of what “ healthy” looks like based on that individual -“Third party connection with your primary physician” - to upload all documentations prescriptions and other personal data -“Earn money from walking”- users are able to earn a certain amount of cryptocurrency of their chosen if they meet their daily goals & quota -Earn money from eating at healthier restaurants: Chipotle, Trader Joe's, Slutty Vegan, etc -Reinvest part of your earrings back into a savings account/investment portfolio

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Brainstorming and getting through the idea phase. I was able to research and learn lot about SMART contracts and are how powerful they can be if applied in real world solutions. These tools can be even more useful if used to develop IOT products such as wearable technology.

What we learned

SMART CONTRACTS are imperative to the future of cryptocurrency! With the use of Sapio and its additional plugins we have to start preparing to incorporate these tools in our day to day life!
