Iris

🌷Introduction🌼

Inspired by planting games, we created a game where the player can plant seeds and answer questions based on female empowerment and sustainability to make the plants grow!

⚙️What it does🔩

You play by answering questions to plant seeds and grow them til they've fully bloomed. Incorrect answers cause you to lose one of your three lives, but answering all the questions correctly helps you level up. Once all your plants are in full bloom, you've won the game.

🪛How we built it⚒️

We created HTML, CSS, and Javascript files in Replit so that we could collaborate on our work. We started by creating a basic layout and then developed all the functionality through an iterative development process. Our last component was adding questions and information that promote women involvement in all fields.

⚡Challenges we ran into💥

We had some issues trying to integrate GitHub into Replit and ended up having to manually commit changes as we went through our project.

🔮What's next for Iris✨

The project can be expanded by adding more plants with new topics or by adding more levels to the current plants. In addition, Iris could be improved by adding user profiles so that users can return to their game even after they've closed the tab. Another improvement it could use is an independent domain name that is independent of Replit's domain.
