Inspiration

To connect people (couples, family) emotionally even though there’s a distance

What it does

Leverages AR to allow travellers to send a final departing message, or a first reunion message to their loved ones.

How we built it

Using the AR library awe.js and some Javascript + PHP magic along with markers on a plane model we can project a message in AR space that trails the plane as as it takes off or lands.

Challenges we ran into

Poor documentation. Learning new stuff while building something real is challenging but fun! A brand is pointless if it doesn't connect with the potential customer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It actually works! We went from a team of strangers gathered around a fun idea to a working prototype in the short 48h allotted.

What we learned

Picking a simple and feasible idea is good, 48h is not a lot of time.

What's next for Jetstream
