Working America's Job Tracker allows anyone to find out what companies have exported jobs overseas or broken laws protecting workers-including violations of health and safety codes, child labor laws or the Fair Labor Standards Act. The dynamic interactive database lists information on more than 400,000 corporations and subsidiaries. Visitors to the Job Tracker site can search the database by ZIP code. Within seconds, detailed results are culled from a database that draws from sources that include the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Inspections records, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) records , Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) records, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notices and more. The Job Tracker site also enables visitors to use Facebook and Twitter, take action to end outsourcing and to report companies exporting jobs in their communities.
