Productivity & Collaboration Track

Inspiration

My girlfriend called me and she gave me the idea to make an AI organizer that sorts and brainstorms ideas for you.

What it does

Organizes your thoughts based on a whiteboard and sticky notes to further brainstorm more ideas for you.

How we built it

API (LLM model) is Anthropic Claude Haiku 3.5 Using AWS Lambda, Bedrock, and Amplify with Python. (Backend) We used Vanilla CSS/HTML/JS (with Generative A.I.) (Frontend)

Kenneth Yandell worked on the majority of the frontend and some of the backend. Timmy Phan worked on the majority of the backend.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges we ran into were working with AWS services and incorporating them within our idea scope. Diving into AWS was a struggle for people who have never used these services before.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a polished product/project that is scalable within AWS.

What we learned

We learned how to make a full-stack application that can communicate with AWS services and utilize frontend elements like CSS/HTML/JS.

What's next for JotStack

Building off what we know! Making sure people can easily access our application, building on current features, and making our design clean and concise.
