Inspiration
We are inspired on all those people that doesn`t have a voice, that are silent or ,deaf-mute because we know that we all have things to say and things to achieve, our goal is giving all those amazing people a voice, literally.
What it does
JBP is a smart bracelet that register electrical activity from your muscles through sensors to detect the gestures of the sign language of the silent people and converts it to a voice that goes through a speaker so a person who doesn`t understand sign language can, without any problem what the other person wants to say.
How I built it
With Android Studio and Java and FREETTS.
Challenges I ran into
The sensors of the gadget we have aren`t precise enough, but we managed calibrating it.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
First of all the idea and the innovation it carries with it and actually Carry it out.
What I learned
A learn a lot of new gadgets and that technology is almost limitless.
What's next for JPBs
Getting better gadgets so it can be more precise. Incorporating intelligent algorithms such as artificial neural networks for the language processor. Incorporate extras like a screen, new languages and sms sending.
