Inspiration

Many of our friends were having a hard time finding an easy to use flashcard app that allowed them to memorize the content needed for their classes.

What it does

A simple, convenient flashcard app that allows user a quick and easy way to make or study flashcards for any range of subjects.

How we built it

We used Figma to design the layout of our app and used Electron, a framework that allows users to create cross-platform apps with HTML/CSS/JS, to build our actual app.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered a lot of issues with pushing new features to our GitHub.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build out this app despite having very little experience to no experience with Electron.

What we learned

We learned how to use Electron and Git.

What's next for Karta

Implement saving study sets locally, and adding a stats page to allow users to track their progress.
