An interactive map that consolidates features to monitor proximity to workplace, grocery stores, hospitals and much more!

Inspiration: We were looking for housing around our college when we thought of this idea.

What does it do? An interactive map suggests housing according to the office/college location. It shows the time to travel and the approximate cost of commuting via Driving.

How we built it? NPM, React.js, and several Google Maps APIs.

Challenges we ran into: Dynamically populating housing options after every search. Optimize the housing locater algorithm to suggest better housing around the campus and office.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Being able to successfully code an application that directly caters to the need of several people.

What we learned: We learned a lot about NPM, React, and Google Maps APIs.

What's next for KnowMyHousing: Optimizing the housing locater algorithm to suggest housing based on availability and other filters we plan to add.
