College students often face challenges maintaining a healthy, well-rounded diet. This is due to their busy schedules and/or financial limitations, generally resulting in various health complications such as weakened immunity, fatigue, and academic struggles. This problem is furthered by the abundance of unhealthy food choices both on and off campus, as well as the lack of knowledge about the importance of proper nutrition. Finding effective ways to improve the nutritional intake of college students remains a pressing issue that requires attention and action. Therefore, to address this problem, we created a website that provides college students with the resources they need to cook healthy at home while saving money. Our solution is different from other apps and websites out there because we focus more on the benefits of a home cooked, nutritious meal for college students with the goal of encouraging them to save money and continue to cook at home regularly. Additionally, our website considers recipes according to the user input making it more likely for the user, a hungry college student, to make the recipes they are prompted.
