Inspiration

Pilgrims safety, in Hajj’s season, is one of the most essential and basic rights that we can give to them. However, with the extent of Hug number of pilgrims and the lack of pilgrim's data Government may face many challenges to track their movement , Alhajj progress and Health care essential data .


What it does

Labaik Portal will serve Ministry of Interior , and later more public and private sectors by providing a dashboard related to each sectors with their data because of Labaik Scalability . Our Portal will evolve a Big Data which attract many Decision makers to improve al-hajj experience.


How we built it

Labaik Built by HW ,SW and NW structure .

hardware: It used RFID Technology , All Pilgrims information is stored in smart rest bands . Later we scan all pilgrims information with Speed and Reliability process by using RFID Readers then all these data are stored in DB that will be used by Labaik Portal.

software: SQLDB, MVC, .NET, RFID Middleware

network: we divide alhajj locations to zones , each has In/Out checkpoint and a maximum number of pilgrims to be in. RFID Reader will track and monitor the crowed movement by displaying a warning message at dashboard to avoid any collision .


Challenges we ran into

short time for big product and we are working under pressure


Accomplishments that we're proud of

1-Defining a small NW that has 2 RFID Readers In/Out

2-Connecting RFID Middleware with SQLDB to store all movement events in real-time

3-Assigning unique rest band for each pilgrim.

4-Simplify the presentation of the huge data that will be in Labaik DB to the end user

5-And Finally, get the benefit of RFID technology in al hajj season by speeding up data collecting process.

What's next for Labaik platform

-Expanding our platform by attracting other public and private sectors. -Get the benefit of the resulted bigdata to help us in analysis and decision making.
