Why BluePrint? College students constantly juggle syllabi, deadlines, notes, grades, and group projects across multiple platforms. This fragmentation leads to missed assignments, last-minute cramming, and a lack of centralized resources. BluePrint was created to solve this gap by giving students a single hub where their entire class experience—syllabus, study materials, grades, and reviews—lives together. It reduces stress, promotes collaboration, and helps students focus more on learning instead of managing logistics.
How We Built It We combined modern technologies to ensure BluePrint is accessible, scalable, and user-friendly:
Flutter – delivers a cross-platform mobile app so students can access their BluePrints anytime, anywhere.
React – powers a responsive and intuitive web experience for those who prefer a browser-based workflow.
Django REST API – provides a reliable, secure backend to handle authentication, data management, and feature logic.
MySQL Database – stores class portfolios, deadlines, notes, and analytics efficiently, ensuring quick access and long-term scalability.
This stack allows us to integrate key features like smart syllabus scanning, automated study tools, grade projections, and marketplace sharing, all within a consistent ecosystem.
