Hackathons require you to spend a long period of time away from your significant other. I found myself spending a lot of time texting my girlfriend instead of working on my project. To solve this problem once and for all I decided to create a basic Java Swing app that incorporates the Twilio API to send text messages to a specific number on a specific time interval. The messages sent come from a list of 50 different compliments that are selected at random. This app has a bright future. For example, I see myself in the future bothering my friends by autonomously sending them spam texts that weird them out.
