Inspiration

People having eye related problems are not able to read certain papers or articles required to read for their studies. They often take somebody elses help to read that aloud.

What it does

It is an image to speech tool build to make studying accessible for everyone.

How we built it

We used vanilla html, css and javascript and also used Tesseract.js to extract text from images.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our tool is solving a real problem faced and we are happy that we builded something usefull.

What's next for LearnAloud

This can be deployed for everyone as a free to use and open source service. This can be also given to schools or hospitals with people having eye disorders or are for any reason not able to read.
