Inspiration

Suicide is an epidemic that is spreading across the nation and we wanted to stop people from committing suicide

This website raises awareness for suicide prevention

We used a google site as a base platform for our website and then embedded html/javascript applets into the website

Figuring out how to embed javascript into the website

Embedding a map into the website and a subscription feature that sends a confirmation email to you when you sign up for the newsletter

We learned how to use javascript, html5, and css to perform various functions in our website

To add more centers to the map and integrate a phone number and direct sms communication with anyone who needs help

I created the newsletter signup which sends an email to you when you have signed up for the newsletter. I helped with embedding the javascript applets and html into the website

I worked on embedding the map into the Get Help page and adding the markers to it and overall formatting and design elements

I worked on The Statistics and the Home pages of the website. I also helped with some of the javascript code for the website and also the general design.
