Inspiration

Being college students, loans are a large part of our lives. While collaborating with our mentors, we came to the conclusion that people who take out student loans feel as though they don't even know where they're money is going. Our app is going to be a solution for this problem.

What it does

When complete, loanWolf would show the user a graph of their principle vs interest payments and how much they have to pay each month. This is to provide complete user-friendly transparency of the loan payments.

How we built it

This app was built in Android Studio using java.

Challenges we ran into

Much of this process was trial and error as we are new users of Android Studio. Many errors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the prototype we created and believe this could really be something. Going from being completely new users of Android Studio to creating an app was rewarding.

What we learned

We learned more about the technical side of app development like java and Android Studio, but also more front-end aspects as well.

What's next for loanWolf

We're not sure what's next for us, but we love our concept and think that it could really go somewhere!
