Inspiration
We friends were travelling along a bus stop and then we saw a man's missing photo who had alzehmier and was lost since 1 month.
What it does
It is a device integrated inside a shoe for the senior citizens and the women so that in emergency cases , the device acts as a life saver by tracking their real time GPS based location and redirecting it to near by police stations,hospitals and to an custom android application which will be used by their respective relatives.
How we built it
we are using LoRa module for transmission and reception of data through a cloud based server. Esp8266 wifi module integrated with Arduino at the receiving end. GPS module integrated with Arduino at the transmission end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were actually able to transmit the data and locate the position of the transmitter device.
What we learned
Experience of working on LoRa module. Great things learned from the mentors.
What's next for Locus
Addition of Self charging technology(piezo electronics), bio- medical devices like pulse rate sensor,geofencing,etc
