Inspiration

DVD idle screen

What it does

A lumberjack walks around the screen and chops down trees that were randomly generated.

How we built it

We used the free p5.js online javascript editor and coded in javascript. We also used Garageband for our audio and the Pixelart website to draw some of the sprites in pixel form.

Challenges we ran into

Adding in the sound and having the trees spawn in without overlapping one another.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Working in a new coding language to the both of us.

What we learned

A little about pixel art, javascript commands, and creating animated scenes with multiple individual images.

What's next for lumberjackLife

It could be morphed into an idle game on the blockchain with its own LJCOIN and progression system similar to CookieClicker where the lumberjack is a purchasable NFT in the game.
