We were inspired to use Virtual Reality in order to create a safe, peaceful spot for all individuals to benefit from. This allows people to escape from stress or chaos and enter a world of meditation for a short period of time.
Our website provides information about the game we developed through Unity and shows where the users can download it. After downloading, the users are able to enter a virtual reality of four different environments.
We used Unity for the first time for the game. It was the first time any of us had used Unity for Virtual Reality so we had to watch several tutorials. We used HTML, CSS, and JS for the website.
Challenges we ran into were the outdated technology of the Oculus Rift and the lack of knowledge of VR.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: getting VR to work with Unity as well as the website.
What we learned everything about Virtual Reality and how it works. Also how Unity is used to create it.
We hope to develop even more relaxing environments that will appeal to an even wider range of viewers and users. With this, everyone using Luna can become peaceful in a chaotic everyday life.
