Inspiration

Deploy Defi platform on metis

What it does

This is a non-custodial liquidity protocol for earning interest on deposits and borrowing assets.

How we built it

We forked the most popular protocol AAVE and adapted deployments fro Metis. https://github.com/thenextblock/aave-protocol-v2

Challenges we ran into

Very big project and lots of Deployment configurations Oracles , AAVE works with Chainlink oracles , we need to adapt it to DIA or any other oracle working in Metis.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We already have a working protocol, you can play with it in Stardust testnet : https://maave.xyz

What we learned

This is our first project we Forked and deployed completely in Layer2. It's not easy as it seems , you need to understand protocol / chain mechanics very well to run the project smoothly without errors.

What's next for mAAVE

Integrate with new Oracles
Run complete functional tests
Deploy protocol in Mainnet - Andromeda
Implement other Aave features : Swaps, Staking etc …
Make our own design branding.
Create/run active support channels via Discord, Telegram etc. to help the people onboard easily into the platform.
