With a very little setup, you will be able to control multimedia programs on your mac from your phone.
Right now those programs are controllable: VLC, itunes, Iphoto, Spotify, Quicktime, MplayerX, Preview, PowerPoint and Keynote.
Also you will be able to adjust volume and brightness. And you will be able to suspend or shutdown your computer remotely.
